Although One More Stone is his debut solo CD, Grammy Award-winning vocalist Jay Young has performed gospel music for more than 30 years.

Jay is a member of Gladys Knight’s Saints Unified Voices choir and has toured with the group throughout the United States since 2002. He is a featured soloist on the Choir’s CD, A Christmas Celebration. He has recorded with such Gospel greats as Gladys Knight and Bebe Winans.

Jay possesses a rare mix of power and tenderness in his rich baritone voice. He is blessed with a voice that can both sooth a troubled heart and paint an indelible picture.

Despite his obvious talent, Jay has had no formal musical training beyond a few voice lessons, singing in an occasional church choir, and many evenings around the piano singing with family and friends.

Jay has been blessed by God with a full, soothing tone that immediately captures the listener’s attention.

He lives in Las Vegas where he works as an attorney. He’s a devout Christian who feels blessed to share his conviction through music.
